As always, our first concern is that our patients and their families are safe during this time.  Safety within the dental setting starts with the infection control processes to which we adhere.  Our office follows the most up-to-date recommendations for infection control set by the American Dental Association (ADA), the CDC, and OSHA.

When you have your next appointment, you will notice that we are following some new protocols during this time in order to keep everyone safe.

 

• Prescreening of all patients 24-72 hours prior to their appointments and again in the office the day of the appointment
• A limit of one guardian per patient; no siblings of patients allowed unless being treated
• Hand sanitization of all patients and guardians when entering the office
• Face mask requirement for all staff, patients (when age appropriate), and guardians in the office
• Scheduling to allow for social distancing in the waiting room and in the clinical area
• Regular cleaning and disinfection of common areas within the office

 

Our practice continues to adhere to our regular standards for infection control by wearing personal protective gear, using hospital-grade disinfectants, practicing the latest sterilization protocols, utilizing single-use disposable materials, and more. We want you to assure you that we are monitoring the current Covid- 19 situation very closely, and we will update our practices as needed.
